I usually went with firecrackers, eventually graduated to a .22LR

By the way BP stands for "blister pack", the original packaging the cars came in. Actually I still have all 100+ of my family's HotWheels including a purple OpenFire, the same model in the auction, which was part of the 1971 model line. It's not in its original wrapper but in very nice shape otherwise. It is amazing what these babies are going for now.

It is amazing... but they are worth so much because we blew them up with firecrackers and bottle rockets...

We used to knock the rear windows out of them and then jam a bottle rocket in the back set them on the orange track with a jump to try to make them go really far like Burt Reynolds in Hooper... HOT WHEELS

Swinging over to collecting these would sure solve the garage problems! .

Seriously, that's serious dough! .
I never had that 'Ivo' Gremlin myself but sure had my fun on Christmas mornings and know my old box of 'em is here somewhere too? .
The original Sizzlers Mach was the only Mustang I've ever owned and I know it's here in the box...anyone still have a Juice Machine? .
