Default Need help with a Big Block 1969 Nova

Hello,

I recently pulled a 1969 Nova from an OLD salvage yard in Oklahoma. The car is pretty complete but is lacking the engine, trans and hood. It has the original BB heater core, motor mounts, 12 bolt w/multi leaf and traction bars, 4-speed linkage and big block crossmember. The only thing that is throwing me is the 427 emblems on the car (in the fender side marker light surrounds). I can't find where the 427 was put in the 1969 Novas except at the dealer. I am assuming the emblems are original as they have the same "patina" as the car and when removed from the side, the original paint indicates it has been there a VERY long time. Plus the guy I bought it from had it for the last 27 years. (It was last taged in 1984) It is still wearing it's original blue paint and has the remains of a vinyl top. Is there anyway I can get some info on what the original specs were for this car? How would you ID it as being /not being a Yenco, Motion etc car? I have the Vin and data tag but can't find anything more than "V8". I need some "insider" info or expert help. Also, on the trunk is a "Hudiburg" dealership emblem that has been there for a long time. Where can you find who was a dealer for the yenko, motion, etc? Thanks for any and ALL help you can give.
