Ed Fanning Chevrolet

Hey all, new here to this board. I am trying to track down any details I can on my 70 LS6, which was purchased by Al Lentz at Ed Fanning Chevrolet. I am hoping by some miracle, that I could track down someone who worked there in the early 70's that may know of a way of finding some old paperwork from the dealer. I am trying to get in touch with Al(the original owner) who still lives in Aurora.

Can you share any pictures of your Chevelle..details etc?
I knew Ed personally,and have a few collectibles from him.

Here are some pics. My father bought this car from Al, the original owner, who purchased it from Fanning.

mr70, just replied to the pm, thank you very much! My father gave me the title to this car a few days before he passed in 1992. I saw Al about 7 years ago, and told him I had the car painted, but he has not seen it. I would like to arrange to meet with him and let him take it for a spin!

Bring it east this summer & join us at some local suburban town cruises.
Wednesday-Lemont.....Friday-Downers Grove....Saturday-Lombard,to name a few.

Not sure if you have your Chevelle yet as this is an old thread, but I was researching Ed Fanning Chevrolet after seeing a license plate frame for sale on eBay. I'd say it belongs on your car. Here is the eBay item number: 160538227147
