Hey guys, this balancer has the timing mark right at the keyway, would this have been the factory installed balancer for a 68 Z? Helping a friend collect parts for a 68 Z. Thanks, Alec Last edited by AMANOCC; 06-03-2017 at 04:20 PM. |

I think my 68 Z is that way,I get mixed up between the 68 Zs and the 69 Zs. I will have a look.

The correct balancer should have the keyway that lines up with the timing mark.

Jonesy, yes this balancers timing mark lines up with the keyway....but does the face have the longer fingers like the 69 Z and any of the corvette "finned balancers".
Thanks, Alec |

Yes that is the correct balancer with the longer fingers.

Jonesy, thanks for the reponse....I am going to take it that the balancer shown in MacNiesh's 67-8 Z book is the over the counter replacement (without the longer fingers)?
