Chev Connection had a fake Gobi Beige one that they bought at Barrett-Jackson and later showed up with it at Hot August Nights Silver auction in Reno with it as a fully restored , fake paperwork, Astro Blue one with a fake Trim Tag. If it is the same car it is a fake.

[/ QUOTE ]Man the lying crooks out there really piss me off!!!

"This Chevelle LS6 Super Sport Convertible has the numbers matching original 454/450 HP engine and only 26,114 original miles (documented).
This rare LS6 has spent the majority of its life in storage. In 2004 a light cosmetic restoration was performed: by The Chev Connection in Portland, Oregon to bring the car to show-quality standards. Many prestigious awards have accumulated since. This is truly one of the rarest and lowest production muscle cars ever produced by General Motors. "

Im just pointing out the wording in the description of the car. Everybody knows LS6 converts needs PAPERWORK. It doesnt same much about Documentation.
My comment had NO barring to what Charlie said.

[/ QUOTE ] Very true. The ls6 verts seem to be the only cars that HAVE to have paperwork to be accepted as anything other than a clone . Most others can get "by" on trim tags, cowl holes,3/8 fuel lines, owner history and/or an inspection/ certification.

I'd say most 70 Chevelles need paperwork these days if they're being touted and sold as SS's. Certainly the more expensive, the more important the paperwork.
