Hey, mabey GM will reopen the AC stamping plant here in Flint where they made them for years before shipping the work to Mexico! At 14.81 dealer cost, there should be plenty of room to make a decent profit.

Especially for the ebay shucksters who'll be selling them as originals for as long as they can get away w/ it!.

Are they embossed???? on the bottom.

Here is what the bottom of the original looked like, I also wonder if they did the embossing, but I bet Not, Don't want to say what I paid, but a little more then $14 bucks!!

So far no one at my local Chevrolet dealer has a clue. I spent over 1/2 there and kept being told that GM has NOT re-released the oilfilter. In addition, he state that the AC oil filter IS and always HAS been blue and was never white.
