Spring is here!!!

Yea!....Spring is here......or somewhere but NOT here! I went to bed with a forecasted 1" of snow and woke up to this crap! Lovely.

Here in Southern Ontario, it is clear, sunny and cold. They are talking close to zero F. every night into the first of next week. Yeah, spring is here too. Did see some robins and read wing blackbirds though, so that's a good sign.

58° here Thursday and they're saying a high of 61° today. Partly sunny and light breeze.


Now,........... chances are very good we'll see more snow, ice, wind, etc.................. but probably not until the Friday we leave for VF! Our worst-ever ice storm came on Good Friday in 1979.

Hope Mr. Ashton has been going to church this year.

You may have a package arriving shortly in sunny Arizona so that you do not feel left out.....Lets just say they are in the shape of snowballs, about the same consistency as snow balls but are made from several organic items found on the ground and when digested they form a nice round object better known to us midwesterners as "road apples".

Since I posted this, we have gotten at least another 3-4". I just snowplowed the driveway and it is about 9-12" deep! It was close to sixty just a couple of days ago.
