Default Marty the Barber

Marty the Barber, a WWII vet has been cutting hair for 70 years.





He has a neat little shop right on main street, same place all these years.




He sits and waits for men who don't really care if they lose an ear or not.





But the real reason I wanted to tell you about Marty was his little sign in the window....







I just thought that was too good not to post. Thanks for your attention.

Ha! I need that sign for outside my classroom door to replace the one there now that reads "Warning: Live Animals".

Thanks for sharing this cool piece of fading American history..
Any of these remaining WW2 Vets deserve a BIG...

Marty's customer buddy on the bench looks kinda' like Gordy Lightfoot!.
