Power Tour 08
To start things off.....a "Old" friend of mine (Corky Fowler) that moved to the Phoenix area years ago called and asked if he could use one of the "Mutts" and go on the Power Tour this year (Of Course)He's driving the 66 Convert with the New engine and a new 700r4.....So he flew in to Milwaukee on Tuesday and spent some time visiting friends he hadn't seen in Twenty Years, and last night we had a Party at the house for the "Old" Street Rod guy's.....Spent the night talking about the "Old" days.........Cleaned up the mess and went to bed.........Got up this morning and left the house at 6:00 am (Corky left later in the day with Gary Lawler and a couple of other friends doing the Long Haul this year)......600 miles to Memphis .......Got in at 4:00 in the Afternoon.......Corky and Gary won't be here till tomorrow, but Charley and Jody will get here a little later today......."And" so it "Starts"........Travel Pic'sfor Today.........LOL

Great to see bugs on the windshield Ken.
Wish I could have gone with Corky...stupid work!  But thanks for the offer anyways.  Have a blast and say hi to everyone...or should that be say "hey" to everyone?

 WOW, that's GREAT! What a Guy!  Hey, if you need someone to drive the 'Scayne..................... Honestly though, that's generosity that we rarely see these days, but EXACTLY what we see from you on a regular basis. Enjoy the trip Sir. We'll sit tight and await your super coverage.

[/ QUOTE ] Nothing happened to the loaner......But Gary drove thru one of the Toll Gates and broke the Gate Arm off by not waiting for it to go up in "His" Biscayne......No Damage though...........LOL Charley and Jody are now here......going down to eat and then to get Charley's Cars......Post Pic's later... Scott had a few teething problems with his car.....No Tailpipes and the exhaust would eventually heat up the Gas to where there was a Vapor Lock Problem.......Went to a Parts Store and put some Turn Downs on the Mufflers .....Hope that solves the Problem.....Neat Car...LS Powered....500 H.P. and 22 MPG
