Default Help w/hood prop rods??

I need some help from you folks that show your cars. I've seen hoods propped up with what looks like a collapsible rod, maybe a camera monopod?? Can anyone tell me what you use and what works best? Thanks

Griots Garage makes prop rods for just your application.

I use them all the time and give them with all cars I sell,
nothing worse than an LS6 convert with a broom pole holding up the hood..

You can also try KD Tools or Lisle..I have a couple from one of them but I think both sell them.
