There was a bunch of us that all took delivery at the Berger show. We had a unveiling. Barker would remember the date.

The first 4th Generation ZL1 427's were delivered on Dec. 31, 2002 when we did the delivery at Fred Gibb Chevrolet in LaHarpe, IL. We did the mass delivery at Berger Chevrolet on May 18, 2003.

Thanks Dennis, that helps set the record straight!

Do you remember how many cars were delivered in the mass delivery at Fred Gibb?

Mark, when ------- unveiled that first ZL1 in Aug. 2002 was that car #1 or the prototype? The prototype I drove had an LS6 in it. I'm trying to determine when 427 C5R parts such as pistons (and especially the Jesel valve train for the C5R heads!) became pretty much readily available.
