Default VIN vs Assembly date

Am I missing something with these dates?
Wouldn't a T0415MN engine have been built about 3 weeks after a car with a 9N62019x VIN?

I don't know whether that engine would fit the assembly time frame or not , but that seller seems to be pulling some shenanigans with many of his "just realized I had" items.

According to CRG, last vin out in March was 623587, so that seems a little late. Might check with Kurt S or Mark C. There are some exceptions, but don't know about this one.

His distributor and alternator pictures are conveniently fuzzy.

I've talked to this guy on the phone, and he used to have a company called ASL in Nevada.
I was trying to get better pics of an 837 alt. he says he pulled off his COPO Camaro.

Never did get any pics and I told him what I thought about his business practices.

Think he said his last name was "Long", not Dorfman.

No its not Don, its Greg Long. I believe he had a company years ago called Durability Plus. He told me at the time they could cast any number I wanted in a block, what a way to do business, building fake crap. He will gladly send you a fuzzy picture of one of his current original/restamped fake parts on Ebay. How is this guy still in the parts business???
