Smithville, NJ car show

I went to a few car shows this weekend, Smithville's show being one of them. I arrived around 10:30 and the lots were still kind of empty. They tried to wave me in with my Corvette but, since I knew I couldn't stay long I just parked and checked the cars out. It was hotter than hell and the owners were struggling to find some relief from the heat.

Here are some of the pictures that I took starting with this cool, day 2 1973 Nova SS. I have seen this car in the area since 1978-79 and it looked just the same back then......

Surprise, surprise........1965 Corvette that looked all stock but, had a little something under the hood and it was coupled to a 5 speed.......

Another sleeper '62 Impala.........

I am pretty sure I have seen this Camaro at another show and read that it is an SS clone that has a L78 under the hood; real pretty car in butternut yellow.......

I like the license plate......

Very nicely done '72 Corvette...

And a really nice sounding '69 RS Z28 that was rolling in just as I was leaving....
