NOT SURE IF THIS IN THE RIGHT SECTION ?? I HAVE A FRIEND LOOKING AT A 68 CAMARO THE OWNER HAS THE " ORIGINAL " P O P IT IS A LA CAR BUT THE P O P BOOK DOES NOT HAVE THE VIN STAMPED INTO IT . HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER SEEN THIS NO VIN STAMPED INTO THE BOOK ?? I THOUGH ALL 68 MODELS GOT THE VIN STAMPED INTO THE BOOKLET ?

If the car was resold under warrantee it would get a reissiued POP with less info than when new.

HE SAID IT HAS ALL THE INFO ON THE PLATE VIN / ENG / TRANS & REAR BUILD DATE NUMBERS ALSO THE PLACED INTO SERVICE DATE 2-10-68

Tell him to move carefully. The '68 warranty plate books are difficult to duplicate. Wish they had put the VIN in all the years that way.

THATS WHAT I TOLD HIM I AGREE WITH THE VIN ON ALL YEARS !! WAS THE VIN STAMPED AT THE DEALER OR AT THE FACTORY ?? ANY CHANCE THEY COULD HAVE MISSED STAMPING IT ??

I think I've seen some not stamped, but I'd have to dig.
Can you get me a pic of the plate? I'll take a look at it and look at POP's near it.
