Hi moderators.
I suggest that after a car is sold in your classifieds for cars for sale that you "lock" that ad. I don't have a car for sale but i find i rather see cars for sale that are not sold at the top of the ads than guys babbling on about the car that sold. It also makes it more fair for the guys trying to sell there cars that are still for sale.

How about we move the thread to another section if people still want to talk about it...Or lock it and they can start another thread....or is it really happening alot ?

Charley i think that's a great idea to move it into another thread like "Supercar/Musclecar Discussion" this way the guys can still discuss that car after it has been Sold.
Not saying it has happened a lot but it will probably happen more often in the future now that classifieds are open for discussion. Just my 2 cents.

Applies to parts as well...
How about creating a "Sold" Category or a check box to show it has been sold? That way everyone will know the item is sold (or no longer available) and it would save people from asking if an item from an older ad is still for sale... If they get moved to other categories, it could be more difficult to find items that you previously saw in the for sale section (which may leave some of us short term memory surfers wondering - where the heck did I see that thing for sale???)...
