Thanks for sharing that link Mike.....I guess the Camaro isn't doing that bad after all if it can keep up with a 911 Turbo S (7:41.23) and Lamborghini Murciélago (7:42).
Kurt

I noticed that it topped 160 a couple of times before it hit the final straight doing 170! That set of tires sounded pretty abused by the end of that lap!

I just saw a pic of the convertible version of the ZL1 and it's beautiful.
Wasn't that big of a fan of the new gen Camaro, but that convertible ZL1 has changed my mind.

ZL1 at the strip
If you read one of the comments it says the ZL1 ran a 11.67 in the quarter mile on pump gas???? I'll believe it when I see it but even if it's in the 11's.....that is impressive. IMO Kurt

IMO Kurt </div></div> Sounds possible...its putting the same hp to the ground our '10 Y-camaro is, and it ran consistent 11.7s in the heat at gateway at scr13. The zl1 is rumored to be lighter, so im guessing a trap speed of 120 with a manual car... |

That is right where it should be based on the HP and TQ.
Now that is with a professional driver and ideal track conditions. Our Stage I package, which is bolt ons and a tune has gone low 12s and has alot less HP. |
