So, after the teaser shots I finally got the full set of professional pics back from the son of a friend who has become one of the "go to" photographers in the car world. He got the new Viper shoot as well as the Fiat Abarth. Dodge uses him a lot. His site is here -> www.notbland.com
First pic is my fav with the 69SS and 72SS and the poker table in the background, at my warehouse. These are the low res sized. The hi res are too big. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RichPern

Not sure..... He also brought out the metallic in the paint real well. It really shows off the lines in the second gen body style. I really like his barn shots of the upcoming 2013 Viper GTS at his web site. Would have loved to make a shot like that with this car. ![]() Kinda like a swimsuit shoot...... The model looks so much better with the professional photographer than when she is at home. He also did the company shots. This is one of most of my guys in the New Orleans Office. I am the dago on the left ![]() RichPern

Hey Rich, I'm going to stir the pot for a second. Did you sign up for that well knowing the end result? Did you pay for this work?
That sure is talent (I'm not debating it) but I'd be irate if I were you. A photographer should know his audience and subject. Is that HDR and with over the top editing? That sort of photography is best for new cars, flamboyant paint schemes, and shiny wheels - think your typical car care polish with a sexy blonde on the roof of a seemingly dripping wet dark colored car. What you need to execute the sale of the car is a classy eye for simple tricks of accentuating natural light, styling ques of the era, shallow depth of field, bookah, and grain and texture (noise). Think less is more. Mike Burroughs is one of my favorite photographers online right now. His work is atypical (see below). ![]() ![]() Check out his work online here for with a vintage Mustang shoot - this is how classics muscle should be shot!!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/spastic...0942/lightbox/ Dan Disclaimer - I do not know Mike nor have I ever communicated with him.

Yes, I did pay for the work, but at a very discounted rate. It is different, and for sure it maximizes the car. I am happy with the work, and he is supposed to be sending me a cd of the raw footage and shots, including the ones he did not use. The link you provided was also to a talented photographer. I really like the old chevy truck on the hill shot. I know that he is wroking on the shots of my 2012 Boss 302 from the track, so I can compaire the old vs. new shots...... RichPern
