I just used 1FlatRate to have a '69 L78 Nova shipped from Tom K. in New Jersey to me in Seattle. I was recommended to them by another guy that is active on this site. 1FlatRate is basically a broker, but they set me up with an enclosed trailer from New Jersey to Seattle, with remote area pick up and winching a non-runner onto their trailer and hauling it cross country in 5 days for $1800. I was very pleased with the service and this price was $650 less than Reliable quoted me. The L78 Nova I bought is a project in primer. If it had been fully restored, I'd probably go with Reliable, but I was happy with these guys.

You can reach 1FlatRate, Mike Falco at 1-800-876-4888 ext. 5

Brokers will find any carrier who will take the job for what they offer ($$). There's no gaurantee the carrier is good or bad. However, most brokers will look at the CSA scores of the carrier before they give him the load. If their scores are high (meaning bad), they will most likely decline the carrier.

Intercity has moved many cars for me - all their own drivers and their own equipment. Ask for Jeff when you call. My cars never even had a piece of dust on them that they didn't leave with.

I used Jim from Enclosed Muscle Car Transport recently to pick up my new Chevelle.
Very happy with his service.

Todd, right on with Intercity,Jay Leno must know what hes talking about!. After 6 weeks of trying to get a car moved,Jeff got it done. He was full for a while like everyone else which is the reason I first started looking elsewhere , but he persisted and really came thru on this one.

Chuck,

Glad to hear he got it done. He is very honest about it when they are booked and does not make promises they cant keep. The only time I dont use them is when I am moving junks around prior to restoration.

When his driver moved my COPO from southern California to NY I got talking to him while unloading...guy handled car with such care that I was shocked. I ended up giving him an entire genuine Mustang Saleen ground effects, hood, air dams and rear spoiler package as a tip. I needed the garage space and he has an 2002 GT he wanted to convert.
