Default Online Bidding Question

Has anyone here done online bidding using the Proxibid service? I signed up for that and they want me to provide my full SSN before I can place a bid. Needless to say, I'm a bit reluctant to provide that, secure site or not.

I have been a Proxibid user for several years and have never had a problem.

Use E snipe all the time, no problems and it is reasonable.

Esnipe is great. I feel like they are just the opposite of what you are describing. Very loose with the rules. I won an auction with them once and I had just went into the red on bid points. No worries though. My bid went through and I squared up that Monday.

No SS #required, and yes, they are very relaxed when you run out of bid points, they just send a reminder to purchase more.
also nice to help you to keep from forgetting to bid.
