Default Black seat belt retractor (doesn't retract)

This was installed in my 69 Camaro. May fit 68 as well.

Not sure if this can be fixed. I don't need it since I got a good one from Sammy.

Anyway, it is in good shape other than not retracting (kinda like "Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

Send PM with your address if this is for your own car.

It is a left.

I never knew there were left and right. They look identical to me.

There is an "L" stamped on it.

Wow, I just went out and looked at the ones on my car, and both are "L" stamped.

So, what is the difference?

Housing looks very nice Mike, but not perfect.

I know I have it some where, but pm me your address.

Also, now that I took the belt out of the housing, it has started to retract. Still sticks sometimes, but I am pretty sure it can be disassembled and cleaned. Looks pretty simple.

Nevermind on the difference. I see it now. The bend is tapered at an angle, mirror image.

Just want to say how great this site is. One of the members sent me a COMPLETE right side retractor, and it is really nice.
