Default 4K cowl tag car on Craigslist

Craigslist ID 4965738548 cowl tag says 4K a 04D date, tag looks o k to me. What ya think Phil. Next town north of me about 15 miles. Has a automatic in it but notice the brake pedal. Could have originally been a stick shift.

Neat car. Originally gold on gold, 4-speed (as per TT and as you noted by the brake pedal) and a rally sport too (changed to standard grille). Can still see the original reverse lights in the rear valence, although the taillights have been changed.

Don't know how to look up a CL ad by ID number, but what is a 4K car?

I think 4K on the trim tag is an indicator for an L78 car.

Here ya go...

http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/4965738548.html

4K would have to be 4spd originally...no auto trans with L78 in 1967. It would be interesting to track down the history on the car...maybe the driveline is out there??? Perhaps it still has the factory rear with traction bar...

I'm 99% sure that car was for sale in Detroit last year. I missed it by a couple of hours. If anyone is looking to track down the block I'd start in this area.

Yes 4k does desiginate a 67 Camaro L78. I assumed you could enter that CL # and it would come up.
Search Louisvile,Ky. CL for a 67 Camaro in Harrodsburg, Ky.. I'll see a guy tonight that lives in Harrodsburg and ask him about it.
Ya never know it might be one. I'm always looking for the dash after the K. Those were the fleet orders such as the Y---- word. Keep searching.
