I get the feeling whoever buys it will unfortunately put it back to stock and destroy 46 years of history.

You'd be upside down, inside out, and backwards just in thinking that car is worth restoring as OEM. No reason to with thousands of other Vettes of that age to enjoy in stock form. Just my thoughts...
