That cowl tag seems to say that the vinyl top was an add-on. I'd remove it.

I did a reread, it says: dual barrel carburetors [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]
apparently "across the pond" speak for a two barrel carb no mention of "four barrel" anywhere
