Cool ride - really like the LS5 - real stump pullers (as much torque as big brother LS6).

Hope you told him about his air cleaner seal.

Oh, don't get Mikey (M22Mike) going about the "Delco Morraine" stamping on the power brake booster!

Nope Steve, I could not find the guy anywhere. I was a very big show. lots of people everywhere.
Of course there were other small odd things I saw in the engine bay. But it's still the real deal!

That bugs me to no end. There's probably more resources about restoring Chevelles and Camaros than any other car and yet people continue to get this wrong. I attend shows locally and all over the country and I would guess 90% of the Cowl-induced cars I've seen (some six-figure restoration cars) have their seal install incorrectly (upside down/inside out). I have tactfully mentioned this to people only to see their car again at a later date still uncorrected. Long ago I installed a cowl induction setup on a friends '69 Camaro SS and noticed the reproduction seal out of the package was 'inside out' (probably the way it came out of the mold). Once I reversed it I was able to install it correctly. I'm not sure if this is why so many are wrong. Sorry for the 'vent' It just always bothered me.
