We have a hummingbird feeder outside our window. It doesn't get below freezing too much here in Seattle, but when it does, I have to bring the feeder in at night to keep it from icing up. There's at least one hummingbird that will come and hover and stare into our picture window if I'm late bringing it back out in the morning while its trying to unfreeze and get things going. It's like, "hey, I'm waiting out here". They've got a a lot of personality for being so small.....

While I can't view the video at work I assume it is of a hummingbird. We always take down our feeders in the fall since they don't seem to feed once it begins to get cool (do they migrate?). We have had to pick them up a few times and take them to the feeder to rejuvenate. They occasionally get trapped in our back patio vaulted ceiling and get too tired to fly so they end up on the floor.

Yes -- it is about a Hummingbird and it's "adopted" family ... TAZ

That's pretty cool! I have a few feeders outside. It's fun watching them buzz around. There's 1 or 2 that think it's their feeder so they try to chase others away. They are a little startling when they come up on you. I was putting the feeder back up one day after filling it and 1 came flying up about 1 foot off my head. Sounded like a giant bee! Made me duck!
