My buddy's old 68 had a Buick interior in it due to the strike year..

I have a 68 Chevelle SS with Buick seat covers and an Olds door panels. Was only done for a
few weeks in April of 68. These cars are well documented and also coded on the cowl tags.
I do not think there are any records on the number of cars that received these interiors. It is
also known that there was not a strike at GM at this time. One theory is that there were riots
going on at the time that caused a problem for getting the correct interiors. There is a lot of info on the net about these cars.
