5k is pretty high for what is essentially an engine block, heads, crank, rods, maybe the oil pan and exhaust manifolds.
Wouldn't trust any of the aluminum parts.

The Cougar in the background of one of the other pictures actually looks salvageable.
I noticed the exterior color on the Vette listed as "brown". Was there even a brown available on the Vette in 65, or is he just referring to the current charred / rust color? ![]() |
