This 56 Bel Air sits on an Art Morrison chassis and is powered by a 502ci big block topped with an Inglese 8-stack injection setup and backed by a 4L80E. This car was featured in the March '16 issue of Super Chevy. Donas Singleton had this car at the show.

This 56 Bel Air made its debut at the '24 Detroit Autorama where it made the Ridler Great 8. It is powered by an LS-2 backed by a 4L65E. Gene Talsma had this car at the show.

This 57 150 is powered by a 427ci big block backed by a TH400. Larry Craft had this car at the show.

This 57 Nomad known as "Shomad" was built by A&M Deluxe Customs for Ron Maier. It sits on an Art Morrison chassis and is powered by an LS-7 backed by a 4L80E. This car won the Meguiar's Magnificent Masterpiece award.

Wow, those 56's and 57's are beautiful, thanks for sharing. Those 56's look really great, it's funny how they seem to be the least favorite of the 55-57 era.

The Street Rod of the Year is one of the major awards at Columbus. There were around a dozen cars vying for the award. One of the contenders was this 32 Ford 3-window coupe built by Jim Wise. It is powered by an LS-1 with a sheet metal intake and Sniper EFI and is backed by a Tremec 5-speed. Jim has built a number of 32 Fords over the years that have appeared in magazines.

This 38 Chevy 5-window coupe was built by Smithson Speed for Dennis Miller. It was another one of the Street Rod of the Year contenders. This car had a mild 350ci small block in it backed by a 700R4. This car also had a '55 Chevy dash in it.

The other major award given out in Columbus was the Street Machine of the Year. This next group of cars were contenders for that award. This 58 Corvette was built by Pinkee's Rod Shop for Buck Wright. It sits on a Roadster Shop chassis and is powered by an LS-3 that is backed by a Tremec TR-6060 6-speed transmission. This car also won a Builder's Choice Top 10 Award from Roadster Shop.

This 67 Corvette was built by Anton's Hot Rod Shop. It sits on a Roadster Shop chassis and is powered by an LS3 backed by a 4L80E transmission. Anton Lanesky had this car at the show.
