I was talking with a guy and he told me that some people in the œSupercar world” feel that all of the COPO/Yenko Camaros that are going to be found have already been located. Is that the general consensus or is it believed that there are more waiting to be discovered?
Mike P.S. I apologized if this subject has already been discussed. ![]() [Edited by MikeA (04-08-2002 at 11:58 AM).]

I think this is far from the truth. There are still quite a few COPOs out there waiting to be discovered.

There are many copo cars left to be discovered. The owners who know what they have and keep them under wraps."Gonna get it done some day."The owners who do not know what they have are probably few.Earl

I agree with nmyenko. I know where there are a few COPO's that original owners still have. Still in "the barn" with cragars, headers, just the way they left it years ago. They don't want to sell and they don't want to be bothered, but if someone bought it and restored it, it would be considered a discovered car!

I would say that there are fewer than 250 Documented COPO and Yenko 1969 Camaros including ZL1s.
This number would be more accurate by let's say Ed,Rob,or Kurts records. More of them are certain to surface over time, as all 500-600 are not accounted for. |
