Default Correct black paint for Nova SS panel/grill

Looking for help, wondering what is the correct black to repaint my 70 SS nova grill and rear ss panel with, is it the standard GM recondition semi flat/gloss ???,also,what is the best way to remove the paint from the rear panel with out damaging the chromed pot metal underneath.??? Thanks as always folks

The semi-gloss is very close to correct . I used oo steelwool and paint remover to refinish one, seemed to work well. Kim
