Something does not look right I might wrong but I show a build date of 000013 at August of 1966 but it shows a build date of May second week of 67 I also show a L-30 with a code MM not AB I am NOT an expert but with this car you really need to do your home work

That's May of 66. It's supposed to be a pilot car (have no reason to beleive it isn't) built before regular production started in August of 66.

Kurt,
Can you chime in on what you know about this car, or the pilot cars? |

Car looks and sounds legit, I've known about this one for a couple of years.
Pilot / pre-production cars were sometimes months ahead, so the date isn't a surprise. They were proving out the tooling, assembly process, and the parts. Some GM paperwork shows the first cars were shipped out in June (to support durability testing), which also supports the date. Too bad the motor is gone, but I'm real curious what the #'s are, since somewhere they are 'on file'. Hopefully the new owner shows up on one of the boards. Be curious how early the trans and axle are. Neat car, esp that top guide, but kinda steep for a car that needs work.
