At the reunion did any one ask Joel about the numbers of Motion cars produced? What is his rational for not disclosing how many Motion cars he made? I don't see the downside of letting this information out.
I guess I can understand him wanting to profit the $1,500 to document a car but why not release precise production figures? Has anyone ever approached Joel about writing his autobiography or just a book on Motion cars? I would certainly buy a copy! And gladly pay extra for a signed copy!!!! (not $1,500 though ![]() Bill O'Brien |

Marty Schorr the publisher of Hi-Performance Cars magazine in the 60s/70s and Joel's PR guy during the Baldwin Motion days (and now) is working on a book as we speak.

He did mention during his talk, that he only made 10 Baldwin "GT" Vettes. that would make the auction figgure of 12 wrong.
