Default 9.91 by Mr Syclone

I just want to tell you that Robert Pothorcki from Gothenburg made his first 9-second pass today. Robert always drive his 4-wheeldrive Syclone to and from the track. Tullinge race-track is almost 300 miles from Gothenburg. The car is raced with the powersteering and airconditioning functioning. This is a streetdriven racecar !

9.91 seconds and over 141 mph !

This guy knows what he is doing.

I´ve got to correct the speed. It was 138.6 mph. I heard it wrong on the phone. Take a look at www.syclone.org

Joe, I love the looks of your BM Chevelle. I might take the SS-hood off mine, and put on one like yours.

Was that still in AWD configuration? It seems like a lot of the quicker ones have ditched the AWD and gone to rear wheel drive...

Did you look at his homepage ?
The car is a STREETcar. The PS,AC,AWD and everything works when he is racing.
He wanted to do a 9-second pass in this condition, and now he did.
For next year he might make it a rear wheel drive car, and go faster.

Robert has been improving his E.T this summer. At the last race, he made one 9.81 pass and one 9.78 !!
The speed was 229 kph. I think that will be 142 mph.

Not only has he driven the 9,78 time .. he has just started to build another NOT so fast syclone (only for low/mid 10 sec passes)to have a towing truck for the fast syclone for next summer..

He wont ditch the AWD or streettrim, but everyone else is trailing there cars so for next summer Robban will bee doing this to.. and at the same time tryes to nock of one or another 1/10 a sec again from this 9,78 time.. he feels that a real good launch from start and good traction would propell him down to 9,6x or even a 9.5x time

How do I know this? Whell I and Robban have almost dayly coffe breake tossing ideas around and just enjoy the company, (he learns about the "old way" and Novas and I about turbo and injections ant so on)

Copo_Anders, thanks for last time.. the photos came out good on your Vhevelle,Camaro, and Nova..
Try to mail them to you this weekend.

Robert made an 8.98 pass a few days ago at 155 mph.

He doesn´t use the AC anymore....
