67 Z28 Convertible paperwork missing ?

Just heard that the paperwork was stolen for the green 67 Z28 Convertible this past weekend, in Auburn. Anyone heard ??

Sure enough, I guess I missed it. I was at Auburn on Saturday and saw the car. There were signs posted around the car looking for a briefcase and a bag, but we didn't know at the time what was up. Bad deal. I was amazed at how many cars were in the corral and on the sale lot with original documentation just sitting in the cars. Big mistake.

wow what a shame!!! i am glad i made 2 copies of all my paperwork for my 67 ss-rs 396 camaro. ill take the copies to the shows after this bad deal.

I'm putting all my docs in the safe tonite!! If anyone wants to test the safe I will show them my Sam Colt Home Security System. Works every time just a little messy...

I took all my good ones to Kinko's and had them photocopyied onto heavy card stock and then put the originals away for safe keeping. I can't believe that someone was so foolish to take the originals with them, much less leave them setting around. I would have at least locked them in the trunk and kept the keys in my pocket.

Well being that he was at an auction, the intention was is that if someone buys it , it's good to go.
