55 Chevy to be redone
This car has not been touched since pulling it out of the ditch. It still sits just like this.

Last one. It is interesting to note though that this 57 Chevy was run as a convertible. It set the track record at our 1/4 mile dirt track here in town in 1969. That record STILL stands today. The Late models and modifieds have not been able to beat it! This car won 7 track championships with the same driver! We had to cut down a very sizable tree to free it from its grave two summers ago! 57 'vert

The other car that is finished (the #52) was WORSE than this one! As long as you are making dirt track cars out of them.....it isn't too hard. I know it isn't a restoration, but atleast they are being kept alive in some form! Otherwise they would have been crushed!

Phil

I absolutely love the track shot!!!! Reminds me of the Earnhardt movie I just saw with the old man running the 55, priceless.

I am bored so I have a few to contribute.

First this one was a suprise to me. This car is located on the corner of my parents block! I knew that the guy dug Mopars but never knew he had this car in the garage. I was driving past with my Chevelle and his kid was getting his bike out of the garage. I just about locked the brakes up when I saw this! I took a few pics.
