Very cool. Suddenly I'm 8 years old again.
This is my favorite line from the auction: "IF YOU PLACE A BID OVER 15K ON THIS ITEM eBAY MAY ASK YOU TO VERIFY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION." Yes, he said 15,000 dollars. ![]() |

His "Buy it Now" price of $25,000.00 is to steep for me,but my memories of those days @ age 5 are FREE!

Absolutely incredible! I think I can only afford the shipping insurance charge. That would be so cool to have. Someone buy it so I can just come and look at it. I'll even pay.

I was watching Ultimate Cars on discovery channel last night and they were doing Ultimate Power Cars, the #1 car was the 68 440 Charger and a guy they were interviewing that had one said he always wanted one and he sold his Hotwheel collection to get it!!. Yes i know what your thinking "a 68 charger is #1???", well the way they were thinking is that they were the best bang for your buck.

Keep us posted on Grandma's house FirstGen. I own my grandmother's house now and all I have found is one of my old Tonka scrapers. I used to have a Barber-Greene loading machine made by Doepke buy it is long gone.

Being the packrat that I am, I still have all of my original redline hotwheels from 1968 to 1972 (about 75 or so cars). I also have all of brother's hotwheels. His were much nicer as he used to just look at them and then put them back in their case without smashing them into each other like normal boys did. (he went on to become a corporate lawyer - i guess that explains it)
