I am not for sure this works but it sounds plausable. I personaly have not tried this myself so you are on your own. No gurantees.

This system has been tried and it works in every state. If you get a speeding ticket or went through a red light or whatever the case may be, and you're going to get points on your license this is a method to ensure that you DO NOT get the points. When you get your fine, send in a check to pay for it. If the fine is $79.00 make the check out for $82.00 or some small amount over the fine. The system will then have to send you back a check for the difference, however here is the trick. DO NOT CASH THE REFUND CHECK! Throw it away! Points are not assessed to your license until all financial transactions are complete. If you do not cash the check, then the transactions are NOT complete. The system has received its money and is satisfied and will no longer bother you! This information comes from an unmentionable computer company that sets up the standard databases used by every state. Send this to everyone you know. Every time I got a ticket it had to be paid with cash or a money order. I have never saw a law enforcement agency that would accept a check.

They do in Houston Texas,I just had to pay a parking ticket! The ticket was for parking in a metered zone where there was no meter! There was not any no parking signs! no meter! but there were meters in front and back of this spot where I parked.The city has now installed a sign in this spot after my bitching so much,I guess they finally made enough off that spot to do so!

I got a ticket in iowa, and they said no pay with check. I payed with personal check, and they cashed. Money is money, take it or leave it. If they would have sent it back, i would not have payed again.

i don't think if you didn't pay again they would come looking for you on a parking ticket, but if you ever got stopped again...
