Have one matched pair of 69 Chevelle "279" and "280" horns for sale, both dated "9D1" for the first week of April, 1969. I don't believe these are working, but you can buy rebuild kits from the Corvette vendors (around $35) or have them rebuilt at someplace like The Horn Works in WI. Cosmetically, these are in good condition, and have not been rusted up from road salt. Brackets are also nice and straight. You can see I beadblasted the area where the codes are, and they are legible. Often these numbers are no longer visible due to the aluminum corroding. Price is $60 for the pair plus $12 shipping. Email me at [email protected] if you're interested.
