In the race car pix, it has a black top. While the new car has a white. Even the paint stripes are different.

With the cowl induction seal on inside out nobody can pick on the piece of tape.

I think Chuck must be VERY happy he has not sold the car yet. At one point I think it was around $180K. Boy has the market changed in a very short time. I wish that I still had my black one.

With the cowl induction seal on inside out nobody can pick on the piece of tape. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] It's still a very nice LS6 convertible and I'm sure he would knock off a few bucks to have the cowl induction seal corrected. I've seen this car in person and the build sheet. Watch Barrett-Jackson in Jan for a Fathom Blue LS6 conv ex-racecar to set a new record sale. When Chuck was asking $180.000 a few years back, someone should have pulled the trigger. Even "Flipper" would have bought it at that price. ![]() |

Looks like a nicely done restoration with correct parts. I seem to remember the asking price being $150,000 in one of it's many previous appearances on eBay. I also thought the previous auction about a year ago indicated it was sold or ended as reason of "item no longer available". Does anyone know if that car has the original engine? Since the seller never responds to the question when asked...
