Default Need help Re-stamp or Original?

Hey guys Im looking at this car to purchase and just wanted to see what you thought about this stamp. The guy swears its the original born with drive train and not a re-stamp and all of the cast dates do line up with the trim tag and engine stamp.

You can see the brouch marks and the vin stamp looks good the me but what has me wondering is the date stamp and the engine code stamp..dont really lined up and some look like there stamped way harder than others? The car in question is a 67-Z28 Did they hand stamp any other those motors? Just trying to get a good answer before close the deal. Thanks Andy

I used to own that car and believe the stamp and pad are original and untouched. I also had an NCRS Master Judge buddy inspect the car and he felt that it was original also. Many MO and MP blocks have crooked engine code stampings...not sure why, but there are many documented examples.

It's a nice car and a very good value...I've thought about buying it back to be honest with you

The stamp looks good, it does look like the assembly code was applied separate from the assembly date, but that's not unusual.
