Cast date would be Ok as replacement block for Z16 or other '65. . What's anyone think of this deck surface? .

This block appears to have been surfaced on a Storm Vulcan blockmaster surfacer.All blocks I have seen have been broached.

Way too late for a Z16 or any 1965 and this is the second design 962 that lacks the vertical reinforcement ribs at the front and back of the block above the timing cover and bellhousing flange. Never decked?
