This 11 inch 168 tooth flywheel has been cleaned and surfaced. It is ready to be used. The part number on the back is 3973456N and the date code is B/1/9. I belive that is Feb. 1st 1969 $175.00 plus freight and 10% gets donated to the Supercar web site. Anybody have any interest in a 074 aluminum big block open chamber head that looks to have never been used? Please e-mail at [email protected] or call me at 714-962-7650 if you have any questions or if you want pictures e-mailed to you.

What is the casting date on the 074 head?
Is it complete? I have a 456N flywheel on a 454. It has the large cast counterweight near the ring gear. Did they use the same casting for both internal and external balanced engines?Does yours have the counterweight? Thanks, Eric |

Shows how much I know. I thought this part number was specific to the internally balanced 396 427 motors. This flywheel does not have the large counterweight. The aluminum head is bare and has a 1972 casting date. I attached a picture.
