A friend of mine has a set of nos chambered exaust in the gm rapers for a 69 chevelle and one resonator tail pipe.
What would they be worth today??? Peter |

Wow great find....even better question. My guess is that they would be worth a high bid....put them on ebay... is what I would do.

I don't know the last time I saw a Chevelle Chambered system for sale.
The last used Camaro system was $2000.

There was a pretty nice pair of lightly used #47 & #48 chambered lead pipes and #51 & #52 tailpipes at Jefferson last week for $1500.00.The seller said he bought them from GM decades ago,and after installing them,ended up removing them from his Chevelle because they actually hurt performance,which is true.
I asked if he had the mufflers & hangers for them and he said he didn't,but did have a local friend/vendor there that did have a pair of the mufflers. I walked over to him and they turned out to be the common #215's,used on the standard SS exhaust system. I walked back over to the chambered pipes and saw them sell early for $1100.00 which I thought was reasonable for both parties,but I was not interested in them for that amount. |
