hey guys, i'm in the very early stages of helping a relative research the history of his car. its a 65 SS 396/425 Impala 4spd Mist blue/ blue int and is believed to have been purchased new at a Wood Chevrolet in Georgia. has anyone heard of this dealership? my relative does have the buildsheet and when that info becomes available to me it should have the dealership destination correct? also he does have the license plate on the car (Alabama circa 1973) would that plate # help at all? also, the original block is gone. if there is anything else i could provide please dont hesitate to post!
Wes

Hi Wes,
Could you post the vin number and all the information off the trim tag on the firewall? I would like to add the car to my fullsize Chevrolet database. A scan of the buildsheet would also be appreciated. It sounds like the car was built at the Doraville or Atlanta plant, and that is why it has a buildsheet. The buildsheet should have the codes at the bottom of the sheet to the left of the dealer info if the sheet is complete. Are you also trying to verify whether it's a real L78 car? I can help you with that too. Steve
