Default MUSCLECAR CONFIDENTIAL

Anybody read this new book by Joe Oldham? Auto journalist during the day with original photos and experiences. Baldwin Motion fans will especially like the cover and related story. One of the better muscle car books out there

I would also like to know where I can get a copy. I remember reading some articles by him and they were always interesting.

It is a very good read, I read it on my flight from Phoenix to Anchorage last week.
Thanks to Mark, when we went shopping for the book there was only one so he let me buy it.

I picked one up last weekend at Borders. Kinda expensive at $35.00 but it is hard cover and is well worth the money. A great read with some fantastic stories. I love the chapter on street racing along with the photos. People seem to forget that these cars were built to wage battle on public roads in the middle of the night.

Just got my copy yesterday. Great book! Mopar guys will love what Oldham says about the first '70 Hemi Cuda convert (red/red car) and Mopars in general back in those days. Great chapter on his '69 B-M Camaro as well as all the street racing on Cross Bay Boulevard, the Connecting Highway, etc. Two thumbs up.

Here "she" is warmin' the pavement out here at Speedworld more recently...

And some cheesy staged shot with the beautiful Sonoran Desert as a back drop...
