Friend of mine located a 69 396 Chevy pickup truck, he says was at/built for Indy...white, orange stripes, 396, loaded with options. Did Chevy send trucks aswell as the rest of the Indy fleet, anyone know how to ID these trucks? He did mention blue interior.
Thanks for any info....Alec |

Service trucks were white with special seat covers that were embossed with the Camaro as the IPC, so that is the quickest way to ID one. Orange stripes were owner added later. Fire support trucks were Red.
(I think Lillard picked up one of these seat covers a couple of years back) Good topic to post over at www.camaropacecars.com |

I recall some possibly having an Orange nose stripe alike the Camaro's configuration.
I saw one of the in east San Diego back in the late 80's.
