Hey fellows. Here is the story. In my garage has been sitting for about 20yrs a 4-speed that I was told cam out of a 69 superbee (engine unknow). It was pulled rebuilt then bought by my father over 20 yrs ago and hasn't been touched since. I just happened to run into a guy with a car I have been looking to buy that happens to be looking for an old mopar 4-speed. I really need to do some homework quickly because I have no idea the value of this thing and dont want to get screwed, because I am really only looking to get an 87 beet up daytona that is not even running (summer project)out of this deal, I was hoping someone on here could give me a ballpark estimate on value, tell me exactly what it came out of... what it will fit (any info!! or even just poing me in the right direction). I would be incredibly appreciative. The big numbers I pulled off of it are....
one the main part: C 96561H and C 95664W on the tail shaft: C-86707J It has a 23 spline input. Thank you in advance Andy |

Andy, looks like a std a833 trans, the better trans is a 18 spline, if it is just the bare trans (no shifter, or shifter plate, bell housing, the trans is worth 400.00 to 600.00 in good condition, they are very strong and dont fail that often, add 50.00 for the plate 150.00 for the shifter if it is nice, add 100.00 for iron bell housing or add 350.00 for alum. bell housing, this is just what i would put on this as a value, somebody else may think different, if they are worth more than that i have a dozen for sale Rich
