Auction is for charity, at least.

An interesting side note:

In the movie, the '77 Camaro stalls out ( hence the POS
comment that gives rise to the new concept Camaro ). The
girl tries to get it started and mentions a duel pump carb,
but when you see the engine shot, it is a new fuel injected
engine.

Now I see this car & engine, and realize that we saw a slight
blooper ( of sorts ). Oh yeah! Like the "Camero" name in
the eBay description section. Can't they get that correct?!

Steve

Im sure the reason it is up for sale now is that in a year, the movie will be in the 2.00 previosuly viewed sale bin at blockbuster. they may as well take advantage of the big seller it is currently at the box office these past 2 weeks to maximize the hype. It is for charity so the more it brings the better, would be neat to own ..I also noticed it was 30K last night and now its 23K. Probably the same bidder as the general lee car ,i see they also added you must be pre approved, which is a good addition.
