I was wondering what you meant by that statement.
My car has it's originals with rivets also.

Probably referring to how the Fisher logo is attached to sill plate.

..Anyone got a any pics of a lace type paint scheme that's not too far over the top??

[b] Lace paint jobs could go from mild small panels like on this Motion car, to all over as this Dick Harrrell
car, to way over the top as on the '55!

Thanks Doggg...I believe my car had a painted white part similar to the super hugger photo...I still dont know about the lace??? All these cars are rather over the top for me..

One good thing is I can always add it once it is painted...but,thats probably a ways off yet..although the body is vertually dent and rust free, except where all the lacquer paint is peeling off the car, but thats just very minor surface rust..the only dent I could even find was in the left front fender above the sticker in an earlier photo...it ia the size of a quarter...the quarter lips have been massaged?? though..that may be an issue...

Also, I was under the impression that the service replacement door sills don't have the little rivets holding the fisher emblem?? and that they are not available for years...correct me if I am wrong...I am certainly no expert on these cars..I appreciate any input if i'm not correct on the facts..

Heres some more pics... I hope you can see the metalflake...its everywhere...even un the engine compartment!!!

Thanks again!!

heres the pedals..notice the rad clamp gas pedal safety...and the block of wood under the clutch..the owner said that everyone was blowing clutches because the clutch was engaging too far..(or something like that)...and this fixed the problem...also notice the tunnel...looks like a few driveshafts whacked it once or twice!!!
