Default NOS 66-67 Nova Hood

I have been offered a NOS hood for a 66-67 Nova. I was purchased in 1979 and stored in his basement. Can any of you Nova Gurus let me know the value of this part. I do not want to pay too much. I will just sell this as i have no use for it. It just seems to be to rare to pass up. Thanks.

Assuming it is in perfect condition.$600-$900 or so...maybe more.

It really depends on the buyer and what model he or she is restoring...6cyl or L-79 car.

if is a transaction between freinds, then i would think a good freind price is half the market value.

It was just through word of mouth that i came across the hood. I had never met the guy before. The hood is not in the box but it still has the GM sticker on it as well as a inspection stamp which say`s INSP. 27-MAR2774-2. Most likely date mar 27 1974 maybe the week (2)?. I picked up the hood today for 400.00 so it seems to be a fair price. I will post a few pictures of the stamping and part number tomorrow, Thanks for the input .

I will most likely post it on a few sites unless anyone here has interest in it. The big drawback is the shipping costs. I may be able to get it down to Spokane. A friend goes down there usually once a month. I will be going away on a holiday soon so i was not going to advertise on the usual sites until i get back. Thanks.
